The Voluntary Pre-K program is a voluntary High Quality Educational Program for 4 year old children in Florida. Every four-year old child in Florida shall be provided by the State a high quality daycare pre-kindergarten learning opportunity in the form of an early childhood development and education program which shall be voluntary, high quality, free, and delivered according to professionally accepted standards.

Our three-year-old classroom operates at a 1:15 ratio.

An early childhood development and education program means an organized program designed to address and enhance each child's ability to make age appropriate progress in an appropriate range of settings. These are the development of language and cognitive capabilities, emotional, social, regulatory and moral capacities through education in basic skills.

Our daughter has been going here for about a year now and she has absolutely loved it. We've had nothing but great experiences with all her teachers and the administration and we've greatly appreciated the various events they have on a monthly basis.

My four year old goes to LALC for VPK and she absolutely loves it. I was extremely nervous at first because she has never been in any sort of organized setting for childcare until now. But she absolutely loves her teachers Ms. Lori and Ms. Mya as well as the other VPK teacher Ms. Robin. Its truly amazing how much she learns at VPK even in just 3 hours a day.

As a first time mom, I was nervous about putting my 9 month old in daycare. Almost a year later, I am SO thankful we decided to enroll him at LALC. The staff is incredible. This center is amazing. The staff truly cares for the kids and goes above and beyond to provide the best care while having fun too. Mrs. Mona is one of my favorite teachers there and my daughter loves seeing her. This is a great place hand's down.

I truly appreciate the welcoming, learning and fun atmosphere of Lake Asbury Learning center for my 2 year old daughter. She has been doing amazing there socially. I look forward to seeing the pictures of all that she does throughout the day. We love and appreciate Ms. Katie and Ms. Amelia for their hard work and dedication with the 2 year olds!
